Proximity Data Centres, UK edge colocation data centre provider, has announced the first regional internet exchange in the West Midlands, IX Birmingham. This new facility is located at the company’s Birmingham Edge tier 3 data centre.
It will allow businesses across Birmingham and the local region to access higher-speed, lower latency connectivity options without having to route all their data through exchanges in London or Manchester.
