16 February 2024 – nLighten Group is delighted to announce the company has been included on STL Partners’ 100 Edge Computing Companies to Watch 2024.
The leading international market analyst firm specialising in telecoms, technology and digital infrastructure noted nLighten as “a secure, regionally focused pan-European edge data centre platform that brings data closer to customers…ensuring high-speed low latency applications delivery, diverse connectivity and reduced data transit costs while also being mindful of the environmental impact.”
A key decider for STL was nLighten’s considerable achievements notched up during last year:
- In June the acquisition of Euclyde added 6 facilities in France to its existing portfolio (of 10 sites in Germany)
- In January 2023 nLighten launched its Edge IX regional internet exchange service in the UK. This initiative will see internet exchanges located within its colocation data centres across the North, North West, Midlands, Thames Valley, South West and South Wales.
- In September, the acquisition of Proximity Data Centres brought 10 UK sites under nLighten’s umbrella. Expansion in The Netherlands was seen in November when GYROCenter was added to the portfolio.
