Proximity Data Centres has announced the acquisition of a new edge data centre located in Swindon, which the company says will bolster colocation capacity in the region.
The 89,000 sqft facility in Swindon provides capacity for up to 2,000 racks, and offers a total of 7 MW of power, although Proximity says that this has the potential to increase to 14 MW should it be needed.
